No Rath Yatra at Jharkhand this year because of the Covid-19 situation: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: The Head of the Jharkhand Minister Hemant Soren has asked people in the state to worship God Jagannath in their homes when Rath Yatra will not be taken out this year because of the Covid-19 situation that applies.
Soren said that Rath Yatra could not be permitted for the second year in a row because the threat of Coronavirus was still towering in the state.
“It hurts me not to let Rath Yatra but many hard steps must be taken to secure our tomorrow.
The celebration of many festivals must be subdued because of Covid-19.
Look for the God of the Safety of your home,” The Ministerial Minister said in a statement issued at the end Sunday night.
Tally Jharkhand Coronavirus is at 3.46,279, where 423 is an active case, while 3,40,737 people have recovered from disease and 5,119 patients have given up on infection to date.
