Nagpur: With the application of new guidelines, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has dropped the plans of people on the bed that vaccinated by doing special drives and will calm them every day.
Vaccination will continue in 156 covishield centers and five covaxin centers on Saturday.
Toi has reported on Thursday that the state governments carry out approval, attendance and monitoring for 30 minutes with doctors who care for mandatory to vaccinate people in bed.
Because of these new guidelines together with a few more, NMC has delayed vaccination 52 people lying in bed which should be done on Thursday.
Then, the Civic body sent an email to applicants and directed them to submit approval and the presence of a doctor’s caring letter.
NMC Commissioner of the additional city of Ram Joshi told Toi, “There are no applicants who submit the required letters on Friday.
The applicant seems to need more time to get letters and readiness or availability at a certain time to treat a doctor during vaccination,” he said.
Joshi added, “We hope to get a letter gradually and not from 52 at a time.
A special drive is not suitable and will delay vaccination.
Therefore, we decided to vaccinate them every day according to the convenience of the team and beneficiaries after the receipt of all letters , “he said.
The state government delivered a new stock of 1.06 lakh dose of covishield and 15,000 covaxin doses to the district.
NMC and Zilla Parishad (ZP) received a dose on Friday.
Thus, inoculation continued in 161 NMC centers in the city and 138 ZP centers in the district of the district on Friday.
As many as 20,677 people took Jab in NMC centers and 887 in private centers.
Thus, 21,564 took a vaccine in the city on Friday.
Vaccination increased on Friday like opposing numbers on Thursday.
Inoculation continues on Thursday but is limited due to lack of doses.
7,283 Doses are given at the NMC center on Thursday.
In the Nagpur countryside, 7,110 people got JAB on Friday.
NMC and ZP will continue vaccinated with full force on Saturday with the help of new shares received from the government.
