Nagpur: Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), which auctioned as many as 15,000 square meters (1,394 square meters) to establish a multispecialty hospital in the non-sez area of Mihan, has not found participants for larger land parcels to offer.
Apart from the hospital land, the state government company also invited offers for plots of 6.75 hectares to establish a hotel star and an area of 1.5 hectares for industrial plots.
4 other hectares of land are offered for housing complexes.
Technical offers for housing plots have been opened with financial offers immediately received.
However, the re-tender must be done for plots offered for Star Hotels and Industrial Units.
According to trustworthy sources, only one offer is received for industrial land and does not exist for hotels.
At least three offers need to be accepted for an agreement to complete.
However, there is a good response to hospital land because MADC gets offers from six bidders.
Anjani logistics Nagpur company appears as the highest bidder.
The source said the interested party had suggested that the area more than 6 hectares were too much to set up a hotel in the area.
The last date for fresh offers has been repaired on August 9, said the source.
Director of Deputy Chairperson-Cum-Managing Company Deepak Kapoor cannot be contacted for comments.
MADC has improved basic prices based on square meters.
The base price for the land of the hotel has been repaired at RS2.875 square meters and RS5,750 for housing plots.
At the hospital, a source said that even though the area was relatively small at 15,000 square feet, a multispecialty hospital would appear vertically.
The floor space index (FSI) of 1.5 is available, but the hospital can rise to 2.5 after paying a premium for additional FSI.
