Noida: Community Health Center (CHC) in Bhangel who serves most of the urban areas Noida has not yet held a vaccination drive this week.
Residents say there are no slots available for the site.
“This is the closest center for me but there is no slot every time I check online.
When I went there, I was told that the drive was not done,” said Charan Singh who worked as a guard in a community in sector 137.
In the last 10 days, The number of centers in the district has decreased from around 35 to 16 and Bhangel is the only CHC among the five where the drive has been stopped.
Asked about the situation, Dr.
Neeraj Tyagi, district immunization officers, said there were enough doses and vaccine slots were also available online.
“We temporarily stopped walking and closed several centers in the district,” he said in accordance with Co-Win, so far, Bhangel CHC has been inoculating the number of fourth highest people in the district after the district, Bibrakh CHC and Dadri CHC.
More than 39,500 people have been affixed to the site.
Officials say 400-500 people are vaccinated every day.
“Our slots are always full and there are hundreds of walks almost every day,” said Dr Yatendra Singh, medical supervisor, Bhangel CHC.
Sources say there are around 18,000 covishield and 20,000 covaxin doses available with the district.
Three new blood banks three blood banks were inaugurated in Bhangel, Dadri and Badalpur on Wednesday.
The Mother Bank for Bhangel and Badalpur will be PGI for children and for Dadri, it will be a joint district hospital.
Each bank will have a stock of two units at any time.
