Nagpur: Following the reluctance of state governments to fill empty posts, the Department of Fire and Emergency Emergency Corporation Nagpur has decided to hire firefighters based on contracts.
The department, in a proposal submitted before the committee remained, stated that at least 285 empty fire pirations.
With current workers, the department is under pressure to attend emergency calls in the city.
Therefore, he has been looking for a parcel nod to record RS1.20 Crore per year towards payment to extinguish personnel to be designated based on the contract.
The proposal will be discussed at the panel meeting on August 27.
According to the proposal, the department has obtained permission from the Person Fire and Electric committee on June 5, 2020 to fill the empty post by renting 50 fire personnel by contract.
Furthermore, the Department has approached the Division Commissioner’s Office for approval, which suggested that the request be transferred after a fixed committee nod.
If approved, each fire department will get a monthly Honoronary RS20,000.
Another proposal that will appear for discussion including the Electricity Department seeks a nod to entrust the M / S Orient trade link, Nagpur, to establish a street light pole and replace sodium steam lights with LED lights at RS3.89 crore costs.
The company has quoted 67.5% below the project fee.
