NoIDAC / Ghaziabad: Gautam Budh Nagar reported the highest number of new Covid-19 cases and active cases in the state on Friday, with 721 new cases pushed the active case to 2,404.
This is a 20% increase of 600 Thursday, which is also the most reported by any district in this country.
In Ghaziabad also, new Covid cases jumped from 382 a day before 607 on Friday, increased by around 59%.
At present, this district has 1,767 active cases.
According to the State Ministry of Health, the level of the test in the two districts also increased to 3.6% in GB Nagar and 3% in Ghaziabad.
After GB Nagar, Ghaziabad reported the maximum new cases on Friday, followed by Lucknow (577 cases) and Meerut (411).
The Ministry of Health said it rose to add a total of 4,228 new cases on Friday.
With active cases edged to 2,500, and most Covid patients were advised to be an insulation of houses, the Government of GB Nagar said it strengthened the mechanism for monitoring more stringent patients.
“Cell house isolation from the Covid command control room in sector 59 takes daily updates to the patient’s condition and their oxygen saturation level, along with advising them on treatment.
We have 30 operators working in shifts, and two doctors per shift for consultation,” said Dr.
Lalit Kumar, the district is responsible for house isolation cells.
Meanwhile, a total of 21,165 recipients were vaccinated in 96 session sites in the district.
Of these, 8,541 between 15 and 17 years old.
As many as 5,280 recipients, who received their first dose, were in the 18-plus group, while 7,344 got their second dose, officials said.
In Ghaziabad, a total of 35,400 people were vaccinated on Friday.
