Noida Airport: Stage protest in camp

Greater Noida: The first camp organized to receive farmer approval from whom the land will be taken for the second stage of Noida airport has protested.
The villagers of Kariauli Bangar, who have opposed their eternal land and agriculture, showed with banners in camps held on local interploes.
The villagers have also demanded that the government revise the rehabilitation and resettlement policies.
“In the case, the policy terms and conditions are revised to offer a fair agreement for villagers, we can reconsider our decision.
But the compensation is offered and the rehabilitation policy is only unacceptable,” said Dharmendra Siwach from the village of Nagla Law Singh.
He is a member of the Assessment Committee formed by the state government.
Farmers have also submitted a letter with Tehsildar from the Sub-Division of Jewar, put 12 demands.
As many as 475 people from Nagla’s village of Singh’s law have opposed land acquisition in writing, while only eight to 10 people have given their agreement.
The same response was seen in the second camp in Mundhera Village, where 80% of the population opposed the acquisition.
In Mundhera, only 120 to 125 lenders of land dominated by agriculture are needed for temporary projects in Karauli Bangar, more than 2,000 land parcels must be taken over.
But the approval of 70% of villagers must be taken for acquisitions to start will compile their report on Friday’s camp.
