Noida: Noida International Airport will produce an investment of up to RS 35,000 Crore at Uttar Pradesh and the Greenfield project will have one Lakh job opportunity, Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister on Tuesday.
Adityityanath said this because he had reviewed preparations to work for the laying ceremony of the airport foundation in Jiwar, Gautam Buddh Nagar which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.
He said Noida International Airport (Nia) was very beneficial for the country, especially the parts of the West and those who fell in the national capital area such as Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hapur.
“In the first phase, the investment of more than RS 10,000 Crore is expected in this field at first.
The entire airport will eventually attract investment worth around RS 34,000 Crore to Rs 35,000 Crore and more than one lakh will get a job here,” Adityityanath said.
Along with this, there will be several opportunities such as MRO (maintenance, repairs and repairs) for airplanes at the airport, he said.
“The airport construction will be completed and it will function in 2024, it becomes the fifth international airport of Uttar Pradesh.
We already have an international airport in Lucknow and Varanasi,” said the Minister’s Chief.
“Modi Prime Minister recently inaugurated the international airport in Kushinagar while we have worked at other international airports in Ayodhya,” he said.
Adityanath said the Greenfield International Airport Noida will be a “first airport in India” which will be free of all kinds of pollution and it will not only be the largest airport of India but Asia.
The minister’s chairman also explored the previous non-BJP government at Uttar Pradesh.
“There is an airport request for the past 30-35 years or a similar project in the area but the political power needed to realize this request is lacking,” he said.
“We thank the PM Modi and the center that guided us in establishing the largest airport in Asia in the Uttar Pradesh Jewar area because our government came to power in the state in 2017,” he added.
Adityanath said the comprehensive plan was being carried out to integrate the development and opportunity of employment in this region with this airport.
“A city film is also being developed near the airport.
The work on planning is in the final stage and film films tend to attract large investments,” he said.
“Likewise, an important node of the defense-making corridor is located in Aligarh which will also be close to the airport in the Jewar,” he said.
The minister’s chairman said the medical park and several other infrastructure projects from the state government were underway in the region.
He said only two airports were functional in Uttar Pradesh until 2017 but now, with the central regional connectivity scheme will also play, there are nine functional airports in the state.
“Until 2017, our airport only has connectivity at 25 routes.
Today, we have linked the country with more than 80 destinations,” he said.
Adyityanath said new airports were planned in areas where no one could imagine building one, as in the Vindhya area near Sonbhadra, Chitrakoot, Lalitpur, and in Azamgarh and Shraverti at Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Airport planning work is in the final stage in places like Aligarh, Saharanpur, Moradabad and Meerut, he added.
“All places where before people cannot imagine air connectivity are now being linked to flights.
This occurs in four to five years and in a fast and transparent way,” he said.
Taking Jibe in opposition parties, Adityanath said the Grand Foundation ceremony was also required to “highlight the timeline of development projects” in the state for “some people claiming they also plan to build a project but could not do it”.
