Noida: Cisf Man at NTPC Dadri killed his wife, Hang himself

Greater Noida: A 27-year-old CISF sub-inspector deployed at NTPC Dadri on Monday allegedly killed his 20-year-old wife over a marriage dispute and was later found hanging in his room.
The police said suicide notes were found.
Sub-Inspector Sujit Kumar and his wife Varsha Kiran have lived in one of the rooms in the NTPC Dadri housing complex over the past few months.
Good owned by Hajipur in the Vaishali District of Bihar, police said.
On Monday, when Sujit failed to serve, his seniors tried to contact him by telephone.
“When he did not answer, the seniors sent two employees to check.
There was no response when they called the doorbell too.
His colleagues tried to peek into the window and saw him hanging from fans,” said Jarka Shripal station officer.
He added that some senior CISF members told the Jarcha police around 1:30 a.m.
and a team was sent to the place.
When the police opened the door, they found the couple died.
Sujit has used a pillow to reflect Varsha before ending his life, police said.
DCP (Greater Noida) Rajesh Kumar Singh said the Si had left a suicide note that he said he was sick of his wife because of family disputes and killed him before taking extreme steps.
“The police have told Varsha family members,” he added.
Relatives and neighbors told police that the couple married about seven months ago, on November 8, 2020, after they moved to their current residence.
“It was a wedding of love but their relationship was tense because their family had not agreed to the match.
They caused a fight and both were dissatisfied,” DCP said.
The autopsy will be carried out on Tuesday, police said.
