Noida: Two days after a 45-year-old woman was found dead at Sector 12 house, the police had arrested a colleague, Sher Bahadur Thapa, in connection with her murder.
The defendant was suspected of beating the woman to death with a pressure stove in anger on February 6 because it did not pay Rs 3 Lakh loans.
The defendant, police said, planned to leave the city but was arrested after he was seen in several recording CCTV cameras installed in an area adjacent to the woman’s house.
During the interrogation, Thapa claimed to tell the police that he had given Rs 3 Lakh loans to the woman, Kalpana Purval, who was his partner in a private company in sector 4, because his daughter’s wedding sometimes returned.
PURVAL, the defendant claimed, had convinced to return half of the first week of January but continued to delay the payment.
ADCP Noida Ranvijay Singh told TOI that Thapa visited the Purval 12 sector house, where the woman remained alone, on Sunday morning to restore the number when the heated argument was suspected of bankrupt between the two.
“On February 1, the defendant told the police, the woman had convinced to pay a partial loan on February 6 when he reached his house to collect this case, Purval allegedly tried to delay the date of further payment.

Purval found a puddle of blood on Sunday afternoon by his brother, Ankit, who told the police.
“During the investigation, the police checked the recording of more than 25 CCTV cameras installed around the house and focused on Thapa,” ADCP said, adding that they had restored murder weapons from home.
Allegations have claimed that he needed money immediately to buy property in his hometown in Nepal.
The defendant was ordered under 62 (killing) IPC and FIR has been registered at the Sector Police Office 24.
On Tuesday, Thora was presented before the judge and sent to Judicial guard.
