Noida: The Ministry of Health has confirmed two first dengue cases in Gautam Budh Nagar this year.
This regardless of the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) and PGI Kids – both government health facilities – confirm at least 11 cases of diseases transmitted through vectors in their own laboratory.
On several occasions, the government has described the two hospital laboratories as efficient to test all types of samples.
The source said if the Dengue case reported by two hospitals and personal facilities was taken into account, the calculation could stand somewhere near 15.
Two cases had been notified of cross by a private hospital in neighboring Ghaziabad.
“We have strict instructions that only the cases that have been positively reported by the district hospital center lab will be confirmed by us.
11 cases in GIMS and PGI children are confirmed by their own testing centers and reports sent to us.
Both cases are notified crossed by Ghaziabad was also reported by a private hospital, “said Rajesh Sharma, Malaria District officers in Noida.
The center lab at the District Hospital, officials said, had received 42 samples for dengue fever testing from various health facilities.
It only confirmed two of them.
All private hospitals have been told that they cannot declare a positive bloody broken except the district hospital confirms them.
Sharma said that although cases registered by other hospitals had not been confirmed by the Ministry of Health, the authorities followed all the protocols to maintain cleanliness in the area where they were reported.
“We have sprayed fogging and anti-larvae in all of these areas.
The supervision team also went around raising awareness and examining those with fever,” Sharma said.
Noida has so far confirmed three cases of Typhus scrubs and 23 malaria.
This is the first time in six years after the TIFUS scrub case has been reported in this district.
However, there has been no new case in the past week since the three reported.
While the case of malaria is low so far, some of the officials are worried about the amount may increase due to rain.
The last rain during the past week has caused a puddle of water and puddles in the garden and other open spaces in the city – a breeding place for mosquitoes.
