Noida: The body of a 32-year-old gas supplier was found hanging from the tree along the road in Noida on Monday morning, police said.
The body was found near the gate of housing colonies in the area of the Phase 2 police station, they said.
“The deceased has been identified as a Shivraj, Putra Gyandas.
He is a native of the Farrukhabad district above but lives in the village of Jjaka here,” said a police spokesman.
“Shivraj works as a gas supplier and is understood to be an alcoholic.
He allegedly hung himself from a late night tree,” the official said on Monday.
The body has been detained and sent for postmortem, police said, adding further legal processes is being carried out.
