Noida, ghaziabad fret due to the lack of pediatrics
Written by news2in

Noida / Ghaziabad: While Noida and Ghaziabad prepares for the third covid wave that might focus on preparation for children, there are very few pediatrics in both districts.
The Ministry of Health has prepared a bed of an intensive unit (PICU) pediatric treatment unit in all public health centers (CHCS) and other government hospitals and made other settings with other big outbreaks in mind.
However, in Noida, there is only one pediatrician under the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and one under the Head of the Head of the Head (CMS) from the District Hospital.
The district needs at least 10 doctors like that.
“We send our staff checklists every week.
We have one pediatrician in the district below me, who manage all CHCS and PHCs.
We need more specialists.
However, we have pgi children to refer to cases,” said CMO Dr.
Sunil Sharma .
Officials said that for all government health centers, including CHCS, one doctor had to call while at least three other must be posted in the center.
A total of four pediatrics are required under CMO.
Meanwhile, in a government hospital, two doctors needed in each shift, take the six requirements.
Therefore, the district needs 10 pediatric people to handle all government facilities adequately.
However, officials said that almost no district in the state had 10 veterinarians stated.
Because no specialist doctors available, districts are training regular medical and nurses in child care.
“We have trained at least one medical officer and a nurse staff from each government center in special pediatric care,” Dr Sharma said.
There is a large scarcity of pediatrics in Ghaziabad too.
There are two pediatricians who are each at the Joint District Hospital and MMG District Hospital and seven in the district of the District Women’s Hospital.
One is attached to the CMO office.
At present, Covid Ward children are only provided at the Joint District Hospital, which functions as a L2 Covid facility whenever the need arises.
Ward has 10 trigger beds, eight hdu beds and 10 oxygen beds.
In addition, the ward triggers 10 beds have been prepared in each of the four public health centers in Modinagar, Muradnagar, Loni and Dasna.
None of them have a pediatrics.
To run the trigger Ward, each of these four medical facilities will require a minimum of three doctors to work in three shifts.
Dr.
Sanjay Teotia, the Chief Medical Officer of the District Joint Hospital, said he had sent the requirements of five pediatrics and 25 nurse staff for children.
“We still want to get a purse.
Based on the recent order from the State Health Department, a training in handing Ward triggered to almost all staff at the hospital,” he added.
Two other government hospitals – MMG and Women Hospital – are stored in Standby.
Dr.
Anurag Bhargava, MMG District Hospital CMS, said the Ward triggered 10 beds would be ready in a few hours if needed.
Dr.
Sangeeta Goyal, the Head of the Medical Supervisory of Women’s Hospital, said, “Seven doctors were involved in the Ward Newborn Treatment Unit (SNCU).
We have been asked to remain alert by the government, but the Covid Ward 10 Beds can be ready in an emergency.”
