Noida: Man escaped with police gun from Police Chowki, showing it on social media; held

Noida: Residen Noida was arrested on Friday for escaping with a service gun from a sub-inspector from a police post and then posting videos on social media, showing off weapons in his hand, officials said.
The gun has been restored but the sub-inspector concerned has been suspended due to negligence and investigation of the department initiated in this issue, officials said.
“Accused of Nagesh, a citizen of Yakutpur, was seen in a video with a police gun.
When the problem was examined, it was found that he had escaped with a service gun from Sector 168 Police Chowki was arrested.
Nagesh was arrested by his residence and pine nested against him under ACT ACT,” said a police spokesman.
“Chowki police fell below the limit of the Express police station as a local person, entered and escaped with a gun,” said the spokesman.
The incident appeared after the accused of accused video appeared on social media, which led to the recovery of weapons and his arrest.
“After the initial probe, sub-inspectors were found negligent and had been suspended from the task.
The department’s request has also begun in this problem,” according to the official.
Further legal processes are being carried out, police said.
