Noida: Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) will provide a toilet at the Aqualine station for traveling transgender and works with NMRC.
The move came to mark the transgender warning day on Friday.

For this, NMRC has made changes to the toilet signs and has provided an extra utility from a multipurpose folding table in it.
Currently Noida Metro has 21 dedicated toilets like that (other than regular toilets for other passengers) at the metronya station spread on the network.
“In its efforts to provide safe space and prevent gender discrimination against transgender, we have provided an appointed toilet can be accessed by transgender based on priority,” said Maheshwari Maheshwari NMRC implementing director.
To guide transgender to this toilet, bilingual signs in good, English and Hindi along with symbols have been installed.
In addition to providing these toilets, each transgender who wants to use gender-based toilets in accordance with the identified gender can continue to do so.
NMRC is also in the process of reflecting more public toilets at the upcoming Aqualine Extension Station.
