Noida: To increase the income of non-tariff boxes, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) on Wednesday says it has decided to rent parking space that is not used or not used for food trucks in nine from the metronya station.
This initiative will also help NMRC increase the buildup through increasing aesthetic and public facilities in and around the metro station, he said.
Non-tariff box revenues refer to the one generated from sources other than passenger tickets.
The Metro managed by NMRC connects the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida from a distance of 29.7 km through 21 stations.
“NMRC has issued an expression of interest (EOI) to call applications from interested vendors.
Mobile food or food truck services will pay NMRC fees or rental fees to utilize the parking space that will be decided by NMRC,” according to an official statement.
“The minimum tentative room proposed to be provided for installing every food truck is 25 SQ M and the maximum space available will vary the station,” he added.
A total of 15 stations have been offered for food, recreational facilities or truck utilities under EOI, NMRC said.
Electricity must be provided by NMRC at the commercial level that applies to vendors.
However, all installations and related costs must be borne by the vendor, he said.
Further settings for waste disposal of NMRC places must be carried out by the vendor, he added.
NMRC said the selection of vendors must be based on the quote H-1 i.e.
Vendors who pay the highest license fee for that will be selected.
“The choice for each location is done separately.
To bid against EOI, the applicant must store non-refundable supply processing fees of Rs 10,000 along with required documents which also include the required licenses from various authorities as mentioned in EOI.,” said.
Vendors will be allowed to operate on fixed timings i.e.
9 am to 10.30 a night every day, he said, adding full details EOI can be accessed from the website – www.nmrcnoid.com under the tender tab.
