Noida: The Department of Transportation Noida has been looking for land to keep the old pollution vehicle cross.
Comply with the National Green Tribunal Guidelines, the department has begun to prepare a list of diesel and gasoline vehicles which each is registered 10 and 15 years ago.
These old vehicles are seen as one of the main reasons for the deteriorating level of pollution in Delhi-NCR.
While some old commercial vehicles have been taken from the road, traveling against private vehicles will be carried out for the next few weeks.
“Their owner was given a warning in September last year.
The drive has slowed because of a pandemic.
But we will immediately continue,” said an official transportation department.
Until June 30, three dozen vehicles were identified.
“Moreover, if we find an old vehicle during a routine examination, we confiscated them in place,” said RTO (Administration) AK Pandey.
After starting to confiscate the vehicle, the department will immediately run out of space to park them.
The Department of Administration and Transportation Noida has requested three authorities to find a room where old vehicles can be parked.
