Noida sent Heliport’s plan to the government, wait now to nod the final

Noida: Noida authorities on Thursday shared with the government for financial plans and models to develop heliports in the 151A sector.
Authority, which awaits approval from the government, submitted three documents with it – detailed project reports, bidding documents, and concession agreements.
After the agreement comes from the government, a company will be selected through the bidding process.
Private operators will run heliports for 30 years.
Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Authority, said Heliport could be established in a year after the company was chosen.
He said several institutions, such as Pawan Hans Limited, had shown interest in operating the Heliport.
The authority has appointed a rite as a consultant to prepare for the DPR last year.
It was in January this year that public limited companies have applied for DPR to authority for evaluation.
The authority is ready to offer a large 9.3-acre soil package close to the Cambakshpur village to the operator, which must share its income.
While the authority will provide land as its equity, the cost of setting the heliport, operation and maintenance must be borne by the company.
After the government nod, the authority also plans to contact the concession holder.
Developing Noida International Airport in Jiwar to find out whether an arrangement can be done to transport company executives from Heliport to the airport.
“It will be useful for all stakeholders to have such settings,” said an official.
