Noida: Noida Special Task Force (STF) on Saturday night arrested two people for allegedly kidnapping the owner of the Ghaziabad car garage.
According to the police, the defendant was identified as Jasveer aka Kalu and Yogesh, both of Aligarh.
While the defendant escaped was – Amit Sharma and Shehzwan.
On November 12, the defendant had kidnapped Amit Kumar, who runs the garage of the car in the area of Tila Mor.
The police have saved Kumar.
Raj Kumar Mishra, DSP (Noida-STF), told TII that for a long time, STF tracked Jasveer, which was a sharp shooter and also a famous weapon dealer in Delhi-NCR, Madhya Pradesh and Western.
“On Saturday night, we received information that Jasveer had kidnapped someone together with some of his colleagues.
They moved in a polo car (DL 1 CX 0875) along with the victim.
Stf has also confirmed the kidnapping case at the Tila Mor police station where they learned that the police Ghaziabad has submitted a case below 364 (kidnapping) IPC, “he said, submit that they formed the team and arrested the two gangs.

Speaking of modus operandi, Mishra said that the defendant used to target people who had small goods or business shops.
Then, one of them will meet the target disguised as a police officer and asks to pay security money.
“When the victim will refuse, the defendant will kidnap the person.
They will ask the victim to call their friends or relatives and ask them to come with cash to release the person.
Gang will demand money according to the agreement that will be between RS 3-5 lakh, “DSP added.
In this case, Sharma has chosen the target and goes to meet Kumar in a police uniform.
“We saved the victim safely and handed it to his family.
While we have arrested two defendants, including Jasveer, but two gang members escaped from the place.
We have formed two teams to arrest them,” Mishra said.
