Noida: CBSE has begun to carry out the first-term test in small subjects for grade 10 and 12.
Officials said almost 140 schools were affiliated with the council, with around 40,000 students in two classes in GB Nagar.
While grade 12 students took the exam for entrepreneurship and beauty and fitness on Tuesday, 10th grade students took paper to paint on Wednesday.
With winter settings, the exam is held starting at 11:30 a.m.
until 1:00 p.m., not from 10am.
While CBSE offers 114 subjects in class 12 and 75 subjects in grade 10, schools also have traditional schedules based on the number of students who choose small subjects.
At the DPS Greater Noida, four students appeared for the two temporary painting exams appearing for it at Amity International School, Noida.
No students chose examinations in modern schools in sector 12.
For ‘entrepreneurial’ tests, while no students emerged from the Amity School, 22 students from a total of 309 from modern schools wrote papers.
“The mood of children is Sombre and reflective.
The school has prepared them so that in the case of applicable, they feel confident,” said Sandhya Awasthi, DPS Greater Noida Principal.
School says adequate arrangements already exist to ensure the Covid protocol.
“According to the CBSE guidelines, only 12 students sit in each class.
The school has invested in increasing its technical infrastructure to meet the urgency of the situation,” Kamini Bhasin, DPS Noida Principal.
The encrypted question paper protected password sent to school online this time that will be printed before the exam.
For this, the exercise has been done.
Renu Singh, Principal of the Amity School and CBSE coordinator at Noida Region, said the school could download paper questions.
“Students report on time and the exam is held smoothly,” he added.
Meanwhile, steps have also been taken to overcome pollution in school during this period.
In Shiv Nadar School, where 102 grade 10 students and 79 grade 12 students take the exam, proactive steps are taken to provide a safe environment.
“The school records alarmingly anxious toxic air levels and installed air purifiers.
Water sprinklers are also used to help finish dust.
Students wear masks at any time, add other protection layers,” said Shashi Banerjee, Director of Education, Shiv Nadar School.
