Noida: The first day of the use of a mandatory foundation at Yamuna Expressway witnessed the chaos on the three toll plazas which fell between Greater Noida and Agra.
Apparently caught by the guard, many commuters sipped the Express Concession Office in three plazas in a high-speed corridor of 165 km to buy their cottage to avoid paying a decent penalty.
Some commuters even pay twice the amount of cash to pass.
However, officials of private concession holders said that some public notifications have been issued in the past, with the latest creatures on Sundays.
Santosh pawar, GM (operation) in Jaypee Infratech Ltd, concession holder, said, “This is not a new order and has been implemented on several highways and freeways.
