Greater Noida: Two days after a man was found dead in a mysterious state at his home in Rabupura area, Greater Noida police on Saturday had arrested four people, including his alienated wife, in connection with the murder.
The defendant was identified as Neha, a Mirzapur resident, a live-in Rajkumar partner, a resident of Bulandshahr, and two contract killers – Bhudev Sharma, residents of Rabupura, and Mukesh Kumar from Dankaur.
The police said the woman got the victim, Veerpal Singh, was killed when he refused to leave his wealth to their children.
“On February 10, we received a call from Neha who told us that Veerpal had died in a mysterious state at his home in Mirzapur Village.
A team of the police station Rabupura then found his punishment body,” said Amit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Greater Noida.
Police zero in Neha after Veerpal Karanpal’s sister, a resident of Haryana, filed a complaint of the police.
“Kanpal told us that in 2018, Neha left Veerpal’s house with their three children and began living with Rajkumar,” DCP said.
On Saturday, Neha was called to the police station to be questioned.
“He told us that he and Rajkumar had employed two contract killers for Rs 50,000 to kill Veerpal.
The four have been ordered under Section 302 (murder), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 34 (general intentions) and 201 (the disappearance of proof ) IPC.
Four has been sent to the trial detention, “he added.
