Greater Noida: Narcotics Rehabilitation Center will be established by the state government in Gautam Budh Nagar, officials said.
This district does not have such facilities and proposals have been sent to the previous government.
The union government has recently asked countries to identify districts that do not have such a center.
According to officials, they are looking for a space measuring around 3,000 sqft to build the center.
“The process starts on Mondays and NGOs and social organizations interested in preparing such facilities can send us their proposal.
The plan will be evaluated and sent to the government for his final approval,” said Social Welfare Officer, Shailendra Bahadur Singh, said.
At least 15 beds must be provided for the center, along with trained professionals and other resources.
