Noida: Fallout of the Sille on the Twin Towers in Emerald Court is a green belt around the city are now coming under scrutiny.
Drawing lessons from the twin towers, the Supreme Court ordered destroyed for violating the law, Noida Authority will see all the green belts in group housing societies and commercial complexes around.
Green belt area designated city is 800 hectares.
Officials will survey the green belt that is located in the complex soon.
“We will conduct an inspection of all the green belt,” said an official of Noida Authority.
“Being located in a housing society groups, especially, because where more focus is needed.
The focus area both will be allotted commercial and IT parks to see how much area of land is left as a green belt and if it follows the development plan approved,” the official added.
Noida Authority has received complaints from several community housing groups on the green belt that is spent.
Officials say there are several examples of green belt approved to build a plan that diverted to park a vehicle or setting up of sewerage treatment plant.
Supertech Emerald Court, green belt spread over 7,000 square meters, which is the land of Noida Authority, should be limited by the boundary wall and separated from the complex society but yet and has been used by people for many years.
On Tuesday, the Noida Authority to deploy its staff to measure the green belt and limit it to erect a fence around it.
Attention has also been switched to the complex work to bring down the twin towers, where the Noida Authority was given three months by the Supreme Court when it passed the order on August 31.
A team of experts from Roorkee Central Building Research Institute based in Roorkee (CBRI) held detailed discussions with the officials of NOIDA via video link on Tuesday.
The meeting came just a day after the Supreme Court rejected the request to modify the order of Supertech prop twin towers, peaks and Ceyane.
CBRI experts will submit their report next week, the sources said.
CBRI will also help to identify agents who have the expertise to reduce highriss through explosives.
Officials said the agency that can do the job in a controlled setting and can handle 150-meter high building was condemned.
Experts earlier told Toi Noida may need to see a foreign agent because there are no high-rise buildings have been handed down the twin towers in India before.
