Global HMD, a company that has a license to produce and sell Nokia branded handsets, has begun launching an Android 11 update to the Nokia 5.3 budget smartphone in 13 countries including India.
In forum posts, the company announced that to provide a smooth launch, it will launch an update in the wave and in the first wave, it will launch an Android 11 update in 13 countries.

HMD said that 30% of this approved market will soon receive updates, 50% will accept it on August 5, and on August 6, 100% of this market will receive Android updates 11.
