Nagpur: Many CBSE students, ICSE and other councils that shift to the Company State Junior College are now fighting more than RS4,000 in a fine due to delays in sending crucial feasibility forms.
All this because some college junior teachers also do not inform or follow up students to send their documents.
The feasibility form is mandatory for all non-state council students if they want to appear for the HSC exam.
This form must be submitted to the council office via Junior College where students are registered.
Shriram Chavan, Joint Secretary (Additional Cost) of the Nagpur Division Council, “as soon as the student receives a ticket in STD XI, it is the task of the college to get the forms of feasibility filled with students.
These forms are then sent to us by the college itself.
The last date for submission of feasibility forms is September 15th in the year when students enter STD XI.
Unless this form is submitted and approved by us, students cannot appear for HSC.
“However, because of the pandemic or long closure, many Universities do not inform or follow up on students.
Parents, whose children now have to pay almost RS4,500 well, say, “My child is now in STD XII and is asked to fill out the form that should be submitted when he is in STD XI.
Even if the college is not open in physical mode or students itself chooses for online classes, no reason for this information is not depicted to students.
“Now because more and more students become aware of hoses, they rush to the council office in the civil lines to collect feasibility forms.
This form is available at a cost of around RS150 (students must pay whatever mentioned on the form) and will be filled by students.
Students must bring their migration certificate to ensure that the process is smooth.
This form is then submitted to the College where the principal or each officially signed it and continued to the council office.
After that, it takes one or two weeks for the whole process to complete.
Chavan said, “The form of feasibility basically ensures that students are eligible to appear for our Council’s exam.
We verify which subjects they have taken in STD X level and they are considered valid to receive HSC or not.”
