Ludhiana: The local court has issued a warrant that was not in the head of the Lok Insaf Party (lips) and Atam Nagar Mla Sainjit Singh Bains in a case of alleged violations of Covid norms.
The next hearing regarding cases in the Supplementary Court Judge Harsimranjit Singh on January 28.
In August 2020, Division V police had ordered Simarjit and his brother Balwinder Singh Bains, which was MLA from Ludhiana South, under Section 188 (Disobedience to book correctly announced by civil servants) from the Criminal Code to allegedly violated Covid norms during protests outside the police commissioner’s office.
The court took the awareness of the incident.
Simarjit Bains did not appear in court on January 14 and the application was filed on the date that was seeking the exception of his personal appearance was rejected by him.
The court ordered that the unscrupulous warrants were issued to Simarjit and pay attention to the guarantee below Section 446 from the cirminal procedure code issued for January 28.
