Thiruvananthapuram: The day after the Norovirus case was confirmed in the Wayanad district, the Kerala government on Friday said people need to be vigilant about a very contagious virus that caused vomiting and diarrhea.
Norovirus rare infections were reported in around 13 veterinary college students in Pocode near Vythiri in the Wayanad district two weeks ago.
Although things have been controlled and there is no further deployment reported, health authorities say they are preparing student data students from Science Science students in addition to holding awareness classes as part of preventive measures.
The veterinary college authority said infection was first discovered in students living in the hostel off campus.
