Norway to tighten Covid-19 restrictions, said PM

Oslo: Norway will further tighten the corronavirus restriction this week to limit the spread of the virus, Jonas Prime Minister Gahr Stoere to the NTB news agency on Monday.
“The situation is serious.
The spread of infection is too high and we must take action to limit this development,” he said.
Norway set a record high of good in terms of new Covid-19 infection and in terms of hospitalization, partly because of the spread of the omicron variant of Coronavirus.
In a new risk assessment released on Monday, the Norwegian Public Health Institute (FHI) recommended government law quickly.
“The lack of actions can now cause large negative consequences for the community, not only for health services and municipalities,” FHI wrote.
