Norway told the military service to restore clothes after service after service

Copenhagen: Military compulsory in Norway has been ordered to restore underwear, bra, and socks after the end of their military service so that the next recruitment group can use it.
The Norwegian military said Monday that it was struggling with reduced inventory, partly due to a pandemic.
The Norwegian defense logistics organization said because “challenging stockpiling situation, this step was needed because it provided the armed forces with greater garment volume for the new army starting their initial service”.
Press spokesman Hans Meisetset said with “appropriate examination and cleaning, reuse of clothing is considered an adequate and healthy practice”.
Until recently, around 8,000 young men and women who carried out their military service, they returned their outerwear but were allowed to leave the barracks with underwear and socks released.
Mandatory military services for men and women in Norway and take place between 12 and 19 months.
Meisetset said the pandemic was not the only reason why stock garment was low for several items.
It also depends on finance, contracts and other problems.
Norwegian National Defense Magazine, Forsvarets Forum, reported that it was not the first time the armed forces struggled thus deficiency, with a spokesman for the union said that “has become a recurrent problem” for years.
In June 2020, a third of the clothes and warriors were lost.
“A year ago, we saw the exact disadvantage the same as the tight clothes we saw now, and the beginning of this fall, the biggest and smallest footwear size was lost,” said Eirik Sjoehelle Eikund as quoted.
Eiksund further said that he believed it was because of errors in the system surrounding and shipping.
