Not afraid, said Malik after Raids Ed

Mumbai: After the Directorate of Enforcement was looking for several places in Maharashtra in the case of money laundering related to the alleged sales of the Illegal property of Waqf, Minister of Nawab Malik’s minority affairs on Thursday said the central body could make him afraid of the action.
Overcoming the news conference in Mumbai, Malik digged in a central agent and said it was welcome to investigate 30,000 entities under the waqf board.
The waqf board will expand all the cooperation needed for Ed, he said.
However, it must show the same interest in investigating complaints made by the Shia Waqf board, Lucknow, too, the Minister said.
“If ED thinks like that (search) will scare me, then it is under the wrong impression.
Such stories will not prevent me from continuing our cleaning operations where the central agency is misused,” Malik said.
In a clear reference to BJP, the NCP Minister said he, together with his senior leaders, will send a list of documents “several leaders” to Ed and urge the agency to investigate them.
Malik has attacked the MOD government for allegedly abusing central agencies, especially the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), against BJP political opponents.
Previously on that day, Ed looked for several places in Pune and an adjoining area in connection with money laundering cases associated with alleged waqf property sales illegally in Maharashtra.
Ed official said at least seven buildings were borne and the actions were being carried out under the provisions of the prevention of money laundering law (PMLA).
Money laundering cases are based on the next Maharashtra and Chargesheet fir police, and the agency collects more information as part of the raid.
Malik said Ed was welcome to investigate every case he wanted, but it seemed that the whole purpose of the current action was to slander the image.
He said since he took over as a minority ministry, the waqf board functions at his full strength with full-time Chief Executive Officer.
Malik said seven fire, had also been registered by the Deputy Council since he took over to investigate alleged irregularities.
“We have launched cleaning operations on the waqf board where previous council members and several officials can also face action,” he said, noting all the board businesses planned to be conducted online.
