New Delhi: Head of Karnataka Minister B Yediyurappa on Saturday canceled rumors about his resignation.
“Not at all.
Not at all,” Yediyurappa, who was in Delhi, told reporters at Karnataka Bhavan here when asked if he had resigned.
“Yesterday I met PM, we discussed the development of the country and I will come back again in August.
There is no value from news like that,” said Yediyurappa.
“I will talk to Rajnath Singh Ji, Amit Shah Ji, JP Nadda Ji and also met with water resources to get permission for the Mekedatu project,” Karnataka CM added.
Yediyurappa had met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi on Friday after taking rented flight with several family members from Bengaluru.
Both of them spoke for half an hour in the middle of the buzz about the cabinet changes.
Yediyurappa, who often faced speculation about his time in the office, laughed at talk about leadership changes.
“I don’t know rumors about leadership changes.
You told me,” he told reporters after meeting with Modi.
According to some people in BJP, Yediyurappa wanted to go to his cabinet by dropping several senior ministers and brought fresh blood, as did Modi recently.
He went to Delhi to get a vacation.
