Lucknow: Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma on Wednesday said that UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) did not have enough funds to pay coal which was being pushed into a hot power plant for power plants.
The minister further said that the electrical giant was also not in the financial position to clean up arrears for the power that had been purchased from NTPC.
Sharma made the statement while appealing to the power of the power to end their agitation after the celebration season.
