Thane: stated that his party was not interested in clashes with Shiv Sena, Secretary General of BJP CT Ravi claimed that Maharashtra-based political parties had swayed from the founding ideology of the Founders of the Thackeray’s deceased.
He said even though BJP did not support the comments of the “slap” of the Minister of Union Narayan Rane against Uddhav Thackeray’s main minister, the party stood with his leader.
Ravi, who is responsible for Maharashtra and two other states, in Thane on Sunday for party meetings and also to prepare for preparations for future civilian elections.
Polls are scheduled for the civil body from several major cities of the country, including Mumbai, Thane and Pune, next year.
Speaking with reporters after a meeting with the BJP office carrier, he said his party was not here to collide with Shiv Sena, who had now joined the Congress and NCP.
Ravi’s statement came in the background of Rane’s arrest for his speech against Thackeray last week and then clashes between Shiv Sena and BJP workers in several parts of the country, including Mumbai.
He said time had come to think if Sena Shiv had floated from his own thoughts and people from the founder late Bal Thackeray.
Ravi avoided any answers when asked about the possibility of BJP and Shiv Sena once again came together.
He said BJP only opposed those who had “anti-national” ideology and Sena Shiv did not fall into this category.
