Nagpur: With the selection of the city close, the chaos in BJP grows and shed to social media.
A social media post by the ruling party leader and Senior Corporator Avinash Thakre claimed that the corporator in the party hampered the growth of ‘Bahujans’ (backward class members) at BJP.
However, his position, did not explain to who blocked his journey from becoming a Canporator to a key carrier.
The crack occurred after Thakre, a BJP corporator three times, was not invited to the three-day camp, it was said to create awareness about various government schemes, recently by the Vice President of the City of BJP Ramesh Bhandari in a relationship with Sham Nagar Hanuman Seva Samiti and Shree Siddhivinayak Seva Trust, Zilpi Mohgaon, from the former Mayor of Sandip Joshi.
Sham Nagar came under Prabhag number 35 Thakre 35.
Other BJP Corporator Vishakha Mohod was also not invited to camp.
With the intention of strengthening his relationship with residents, BJP has held various camps.
The Thakre post has become a point in the political circles.
His post saw around 100 comments including one by former Mayor Archana Dehankar, who also seemed to agree with Thakre’s view.
Thakre refused to comment on his post.
The source questioned why Thakre was kept away from the camp held to Woo Voters.
Without naming Joshi, Thakre shared a post that mentions Mahatma Phule’s struggle did not oppose any individual or society but against the upper class mentality.
Even today, there is a tendency in society that cannot digest the success of being difficult than ordinary ‘vain’ leaders like us, the posts are stated.
“That is why the conspiracy constantly hatches to enslave people like us.
The conspiracy is being hatched to hurt their self-esteem refusing to receive slavery.
Our struggle against the tendency will continue to death,” said Thakre at Marathi reading.
Joshi clarified that the camp was not organized by him and he was invited only for the inauguration.
“The whole event was planned by Bhandari and I just supported the initiative by associating my NGO for the conscious camp,” said the former mayor.
When the civil election approaches, the rip in BJP in power has become clearer and this is just the beginning, say sources in knowledge.
