JAIPUR: Sachin Pilot and his fans aren’t bargaining for position or power but need Congress employees who have toiled to the party’s success to be honoured, former speaker of Rajasthan meeting and Congress MLA Deependra Singh Shekhawat said on Wednesday.
The MLA in Srimadhopur (Sikar) stated the reports asserting that bargaining was heading for several places in the cupboard, boards and company are all false.
“It’s absolutely not a deal for power or position.
It’s a matter of pride, admiration and honor of the party employees that have struggled for the celebration for a long time.
They fought against the BJP to deliver the Congress to electricity,” Shekhawat, a Pilot loyalist, stated.
“Pilot and all us were trying to find honor and esteem for those grassroots congress employees in Rajasthan,” he explained.
But he explained that political appointments ought to be granted to people who have worked in the polling booths and to not retired bureaucrats and officials.
“The loyalties of these cherry-picked bureaucrats are momentary,” he explained.
“Those people who valiantly took about the anger of BJP authorities of Vasundhara Raje and Narendra Modi in 2014 onwards, gave his blood and sweat to renew the Congress later it suffered its worst defeat at 2013 – obtaining just 21 seats out of 200 – want to find sufficient recognition and respect today that we’re the party in power,” Shekhawat, a five-time MLA, mentioned.
Yesterday, MLAs who had defected in the BSP into the Congress had targeted at the Pilot camp when objecting to some movement by the party high command to pacify dissent legislators headed by the former deputy CM, although the other Congress legislator Bhanwarlal Sharma stated, without naming anybody, which nine cabinet berths were empty and 25 MLAs were the articles.
The rumblings from the ruling party in Rajasthan have become louder with the camp stepping up pressure to deal with the problems raised by this year ago.
