New Delhi: The big wave of Covid-19 infection in Kerala has so far a trend of the most dominant pandemic last week, but several other countries also saw an increase in cases during the period, with Mizoram and Andhra reported moderate Spurt.
Weekly kasing rose 44% compared to the previous seven days in Mizoram.
The case has declined in the northeastern state of the previous three weeks.
Mizoram reported 5,342 cases for August 23-29, up from 3,718 in seven days earlier.
In the south, Andhra saw a surge in 13.2% with 9,783 cases recorded for a week, compared with 8,643 in the previous week.
India recorded a surge in 32% in the case last week, with Kerala posted a 56% increase.
The state accounts for 66% of all cases in India for a week.
Maharashtra also recorded a minor 1% increase in weekly quantities, breaking down the fallen trends that had been held for eight weeks, although the decline was very slow in the state.
Infection also rose 3.1% in Bengal.
Meanwhile, on Monday, India recorded 30,198 fresh cases and 350 deaths, the lowest one-day victim in the country since March 29.
