Not scarcity of seats in class XI, convincing education secretaries

Ranchi: Although more students have brought class X examinations from various boards this year compared to other years, authorities believe that those who want to pursue further studies will get acceptance in one institution or another.
In particular, 4,15,924 of 4,33,571 students, which appeared in the class X test conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), cleared the test this year.
The percentage of this year’s pass was 95.92%, which was a 20.85% defeat better than last year.
While upgraded results have made it difficult for many students to get entrance tickets in their choice institutions, the Ministry of Education claims that no students will be rejected the opportunity to pursue higher education.
Educational Secretary Rajesh Sharma said, “We have a flexible approach when it comes to receiving tickets to our school.
The number of seats can be increased if needed.” He added that the Ministry of Education also planned to start a special drive to register students in class XI to prevent dropping -Out.
The JAC source added that, currently, around 5.25 lakh seats are available for students in class XI at JAC-Affiliate Plus-two schools and colleges.
Experts say that the situation is no different for CBSE school students.
Nearly 70,000 students in the state passed the X-class exam under the CBSE, with significant proportions wrapping more than 90%.
Samarjit Jana, Principal of Jawahar Vidya Mandir-Shyamli, said, “There is no scarcity of seats for students in class XI.
However, many students may not get their subject choices.” In particular, there are 112 secondary schools affiliated with the school certificate exam board India (Cisce), but the amount, after that, dropped to 50.
Talking about the limited number of seats in a higher secondary part, regional coordinator for Cisce, Christopher Francis, said, “After class X, many of our students shift to affiliated schools With CBSE.
Moreover, the significant number is also out of the country.
I cannot say how things will be suitable for our students who aim to receive entrance tickets in the state.
“A total of 13,640 students passed class X from Cisce affiliated school this year.
