Dhaka: Australian and Christian Batsman said Dhaka Wicket used for the ongoing Twenty20 series against Bangladesh “not spectacular”.
In other low score games at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Australia won their first victory on Saturday after losing the first three matches.
The highest total so far only 131.
Promoted on one-down, Christian crashes the best career 39 of 15 balls and accumulates to the All-rounder star Shakib Al Hasan with five of them.
However, despite the Christian explosion beat, Australia stammered to drop the 104 target running and had to put it to 19 to claim victory.
“They have really fun games but I don’t think that’s why T20 was created,” Christian said after the victory of the three Australian goal.
“Twenty20 was found for sixes and a lot of walking, in that case certainly not spectacular.” Christian, the first Australia to hit five six of the T20 internationally, still praised competitiveness in the low score series.
“It puts so much interest in every ball game, each limit, trying to save one here it becomes very important.
They can have a big effect on the game,” he said.
Christian believes that the goal in Dhaka will not be ideal for the preparation of his team ahead of the world of Twenty20 in the United Arab Emirates in October-November.
“After playing a little in the UAE, say Sharjah, we get a little dew at night and it’s quite small so 220 can be a victory score there.” Australia will finish their tour with the fifth and last match of this series on Monday.
