‘Not the desired position: SC is concerned about the countries do not provide’ General Approval ‘to the CBI for investigations

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday expressed concern for the state government did not give general approval to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conduct investigations in their territory and noted that around 150 demand was waiting before the state government.
The top yesterday said it was not the “desired position” of eight countries including Maharashtra, West Bengal and Jharkhand did not allow CBI probes in their country.
The Apex Court also expressed concern of staying a fixed order passed by a higher court in a large number of CBI cases which caused delays in probes and completion of trials in sequence.
A bench headed by Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said that both problems need to be examined further and call them to the main justice of India to receive a telephone.
Some opposition parties have attracted the ‘General Approval’ to the CBI for carrying out investigations in their country who accused the center of using an investigation body to conduct political vendetta.
