Modi said he had just got a NCC alumni card and he came to the rally not only as prime minister but also as a former cadet.
“The government took many steps to join the state education system with NCC,” he said.
Under the new national education policy, 90 state universities have begun to offer NCC as the subject of choice for their students, he noted.
“I see a lot of cadet girls here.
This is a sign of how our country changes,” he said “the state requires your contribution and there are many opportunities for it,” he told the cadet girl.
