Gurgaon: The City and State Meeting Department (DTCP) has issued a notification of the show to nine builders developing 12 affordable housing projects to violate the terms and conditions of licenses given to them.
In the notification, the District City Planner (Enforcement) R S BATTH said the steps for the development of these projects were found very slowly and the builder did not obtain work certificates and settlement certificates in the period of license validity.
The builders, he added, also violated Haryana’s development and urban law regulations, 1975.
Developers had been directed to appear in front of the DTP office within seven days to answer with them.
“They are also asked to carry documents that provide details about the status of construction and schedules,” Batth added.
He said per section 10 (1) of the action, “anyone who contradicts one of the provisions or rules made below it or one of the terms of the license given below 3 will be punished with prison sentences that can be expanded to three years and will also be responsible answer to fine “.
Home buyers who invest in one of the projects said it was almost four years but almost 50% of the work was completed.
“We have already paid around 90% of the amount to the builder and paying rent and installments against the home loan,” he added.
Affordable housing projects were launched in Haryana based on policies introduced by the State Government in 2013.
Projects must be completed within four years since the dated building permit was given to the developer.
However, most of these projects walk behind the schedule and many have missed their deadlines because of the slow construction.
Some buyers have aired their complaints on social media and other platforms, which are calculated by DTCP.
