Nagpur: Traffic police have begun to take legal action against violators who have failed to pay a fine.
Office of Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Sarang Awad issued a pre-litigation notification to 26,412 vehicle owners for pending challans payments (from March 1, 2021 to 31 August 2021) before September 21, 2021, the failure they did was called to stay in the office DCP traffic on the civil pathway for pre-litigation settlement.
The delayed number of violators stands at Rs 3.68 Crores.
Notifications have been sent via text messages on their registered cellphone numbers via the link.
In this case, violators failed to pay this delayed challans, they will be asked to present themselves at Lok to be held on September 25, stating the press record released by the Nagpur City Police.
Even those who have not received notice were asked to examine their delayed Challans in the Maharashtra traffic application for and make pending contributions to save them from further legal actions.
