VARANATION: The number of new cases of Koronavirus infection continues to surge in the district of Varanasi and adjacent areas.
According to a daily medical bulletin, 666 more people were tested positive for Covid-19 in the Varanasi district on Friday.
With the detection of new cases, Covid-19 active cases have increased to 3,662 in the district.
One patient was hospitalized, increasing the number of patients under hospital treatment up to 14.
However, 52 patients including 49 in house insulation and three at hospital facilities were declared recovered on Friday.
In the Chandauli District, 88 more people included 24 women and eight children tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, increasing the calculation of active cases to 390.
Samples of 1,026 people were collected in Chandauli.
Ballia reported 47 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday, increasing the number of active cases of up to 169.
However, 18 patients were declared cured in Ballia.
Meanwhile, district administration on Friday issued a notification to many schools because it did not obey orders about vaccination of students from the age group 15-18 years.

District Judge Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the school was asked to answer why not acting must begin with them under the right law.
He warned that weakness at any stage in vaccination would not be tolerated and firm action would begin for the violation of the order.
DM has ordered for the opening of school compulsory from January 14 to January 16 for vaccination of students.
