Patna: The state government on Thursday issued a notification of sheets for the implementation of Bihar Municipal Ordonance (Amendment) Bihar, 2022, facilitating the direct election of the head of urban local agencies (mayors) and their deputies.
CM representatives and urban development and the Minister of Housing Tarkishore Prasad announced that regulations change the relevant parts of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007 to facilitate the election of the mayor’s and deputies in 263 local agencies (ULB) countries apply now after self-phagu chaku.
The state cabinet has approved a proposal in this case on December 29.
