Notifications sent to 130 illegal structures at Faridabad Aravalis

Gurgaon: The Department of Forest Faridabad has sent a notification of the causes of shows to the owner of more than 130 structures built illegally in the Aravalis which is sensitive to the environment.
The owner has given time to destroy their structure until Monday.
This step came after the Supreme Court on July 23 ordered the corporation of the city of Faridabad (MCF) not to set aside illegal structures in Aravalis, including agricultural houses, commercial companies and religious structures, during the ongoing demolition travel in Khori Village.
“More than 130 notifications were issued for illegal structural owners in the Aravali faridabad area earlier this week by the Ministry of Forestry.
They have been given time until Monday to destroy their own structure.
If they fail to do it, the administration will undermine the structure,” said Commissioner MCF Yashpal Yadav.
Meanwhile, the Forestry Department carried out a drone survey in the protected area.
“We will still conduct a survey for two days to identify illegal structures in Aravalis,” said Raj Kumar, Faridabad District Forest Officer.
Seven teams consisting of district administration and officials of the forest department were carrying out surveys, which would cover 5,430 hectares of forest areas.
Illegal structures have been found in 500 hectares like now.
Kanwal Forest Minister Pal Gujjar said that a total of 60 illegal farm houses were built in Aravalis – 50 in Faridabad and 10 in Gurgaon – between 2000 and 2020.
Meanwhile, environmental activists said that even though the Supreme Court had directed MCF actions against the structure in the forest area Do not have a agreed development plan from the authorities, there has been no action taken.
“It’s confusing that even after the Supreme Court’s orders recently that MCFs can destroy the structure that doesn’t have any permits, there is no action taken.
Owners of illegal farming houses and other structures intentionally given more time,” said Vaishali Rana Chandra , an environmental activist.
In the hearing of the Supreme Court, the lawyer of the farmhouse owner has shown that some farm houses are not in the forest area, but on private land.
For this, the APEX court questioned why this owner needed a representation if his characteristics were not on forest land.
It then directs all of these owners to submit their land record with MCF.
State Information Commissioner Haryana Arun Sangwan has been on July 9, also recommend that Gurgaon and Faridabad civil bodies form their respective committees to ensure the ownership of agricultural homes in Aravalis.
This order came when the commission heard the request of officers IAS Ashok Khemka related to the existence of 60 farms in Gurgaon and Faridabad Aravalis.
The Commission has directed the Financial Commissioner (income) that a committee consisting of district forest officials, district city planners, district income officials, executive officials and city corporate officials from two districts was formed to ensure the ownership of agricultural houses in Aravalis.
Fall under their jurisdiction and submit a report within two months.
