Kolkata / Contai: Bengal Cid on Monday took over the probe into suspicious deaths from the supervisor of Suvendu Adhikari in 2018 and spoke to the wife who died whose approach to the murder case, two days ago.
Subhabrata Chakraborty (40), an armed police officer (SAP) Jawan, is part of Adhikari’s security details when he is a member of the Trinamool Congress parliament.
He continued in the squad after Adhikari became the Minister of State in 2015.
Three years later, Chakraborty allegedly shot himself in the police barracks of Contai.
