Now, Goa Govt frees 50% costs for the General River Hold Program

PANAJI: The state government has decided to ignore 50% tuition fees for students of General Stream Degree programs during the current academic year considering the Pandemic, Head of the Minister of Pramod Sawant announced on Friday.
This step is set to get the benefits of around 40,000 BA, BSC and BCON programs in 36 assisted colleges and the government.
“Given the ongoing pandemic and undergo a very difficult state, the government has made a decision to release 50% of the tuition fees, the cost of gymkhana and cultural costs for current academic revenues in all universities under the higher education area, Goa,” Sawant announced on his social media handle.
Tuition fees, cost of gymkhana and cultural costs are combined, indicted at assisted and government universities for BA, BSC, BCOM students every year, add up to around Rs 4,000-5,000.
The Institute said that many students, especially those from rural areas, have found it difficult to pay fees since the pandemic.
The Head of the Institute said that the steps to release 50% of the costs will benefit many students in this scenario.
“Students, especially those parents are employed in an unmaved sector, find it difficult to pay fees since the pandemic.
This decision by this country will greatly benefit such students,” said the Principal of DM’s College, Assagao, DB Arolkar.
The current acceptance and acceptance process is currently in college because the new academic year 2021-22 for a general flow program will start from September 1.
