Jammu: Administrative District Kathua J & K has now imposed a ban on the use of drones and flying objects, following a similar ban on the Rajouri District Authority last week after twin explosions at the Jammu Air Force Base on June 27.
Magical District Kathua Rahul Yadav said, “It has been observed that the use of small drone cameras has increased in the community to capture photos and videos at social and cultural meetings.
Anti-national elements can use similar drones and fly objects to cause damage, injury and risk Humans in certain parts of J & K.
“Officials say that such steps will help avoid confusion in the current situation to secure air space near vital installations and very populated areas.
“Every drone or small flying object and toy flying in the district needs to be registered on ACR / HR,” said DM Yadav.
