Thiruvananthapuram: With Covid-19 death reporting has become a controversy in the state after the Supreme Court’s decision, now the daily bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health at Covid’s death has death that has occurred even 75 days ago.
The daily bulletin released by the State Health Department for the past five days has mentioned about nearly one hundred deaths that have occurred more than 10 days ago.
This includes even deaths that have occurred two and a half months ago.
A 60-year-old child who died in Kozhikode on April 12 was listed in a June 30 daily bulletin.
Similar is the case of a 95-year-old child who has died in Kozhikode on April 24.
This death was recorded on June 30.
The daily bulletin issued on July 2 has the mention of deaths that occurred in Ernakulam in 64-year-old children in April.
Such deaths occur now included in Covid state death data.
About 13 deaths on June 29, 19 on June 30, 26 in July 1, 28 on July 2 and nine of these deaths on July 3 were found mentioned in the death data issued by the State Health Department.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Veena George has said a complete list of people who have found that Covid data countries will be released in one or two days.
Negligence occurs in the district list will also be included in this list.
“The detailed list will be published on the website and if anyone wants more details about the deceased, the list will be provided at the district medical office of each country,” he said.
However, the Minister is not ready to clarify whether the complaints about the exception of death from the actual data will be reviewed.
The minister promised that there would be no anomalies in reporting deaths from now on because real time reporting had begun at the district level since June.
But he was not ready to clarify about the previous death.
“It has been noted that after December 2020, a list of people who have given up on Covid are not published.
These names will be published along with state data in one or two days,” he said.
